Sophia is named for Sophia Loren, the Italian movie star.  She came to us from the New Albany, IN animal shelter a couple of weeks after Martini passed away.  Dante Cat was moping at the time, and we couldn't stand to see him lonely.

Sophia has since graduated to "#1 Housecat" with Dante's passing.  He was crazy about her right up until the end. 

Sophia was not crazy about Samantha's arrival.  She "tolerates" the kitten.

If Sophia was a dog, she would be a Siberian Husky.  Her blue eyes are incredible.
