Our cat Samantha, has a favorite meal - noodle night.
When we have pasta, she gets a noodle or two to play with and it's the best cat
toy ever... This dish is named for her.
2 cloves garlic
¼ cup olive oil
1 pound ground beef or leftover BBQ chicken
1 (15 oz. can tomato sauce)
1 (15 oz. can chopped tomatoes)
2 cups marinara sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
8 ounces macaroni
1 cup grated cheese
3 stalks celery, chopped and boiled 5 minutes.
Use the back big burner for the sauce, reserve the front big burner for the
pasta. Saute minced garlic in olive oil. Add the meat and brown slightly. Drain
the mixture (only if using raw ground beef). Add the tomato sauce, tomatoes, marinara, salt and pepper. Simmer
for 30 minutes. Cook the macaroni according to the package directions. Add
drained macaroni to the meat mixture and turn the burner off. Mix in an oven
dish with the drained, cooked celery. Bake at 400⁰F. for 15 minutes, then top
with cheese and serve.
